Women’s Singles :-
France’s Marion Bartoli won the Wimbledon 2013 women’s title after defeated Germany’s Sabine Lisicki in the final.Bartoli is the fifth oldest woman to become a first-time Grand Slam winner in the Open Era.By finally winning her maiden major title in the 47th Grand Slam appearance of her career, Bartoli surpassed the previous record set by Jana Novotna, who won Wimbledon in 1998 after 45 appearances at the majors.
Men’s Singles :-
Scottish professional tennis player Andy Murray won the Men’s Singles title after defeated Novak Djokovic (Serbia) in the final.Andy Murray became the Britain’s first male winner after almost eight decades, to win the championship. Earlier he was Fred Perry, who won his last Championship in 1936.
Women’s Doubles :-
Taiwan professional tennis player Hsieh Su-wei and Peng Shuai (China) won the women’s doubles title after defeated Australian duo Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua in the final at Wimbledon.
Men’s Doubles :-
Americans Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan won the Wimbledon men’s doubles title after defeated Ivan Dodig (Croatia )and Marcelo Melo (Brazil) in the final.
