$300M additional ADB financing to upgrade highways in Bihar

The government signed a 300-million dollar loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank non to upgrade highways in northern and southern Bihar. The additional financing for the Bihar State Highways-II Project, which is already under implementation, will widen existing sections of four highways to two lanes, build bridges and strengthen pavements. The pact was signed in New Delhi.
