Cabinet approves visa waiver agreements with Poland, Slovenia & Lithuania

The Union Cabinet has approved the visa waiver agreements with Poland, Slovenia and Lithuania. The move will help Indians with diplomatic passports to visit these countries easily. The agreements will be signed shortly.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, CCEA has cleared a proposal to disinvest 17 percent of paid up capital for Follow-on Public Offering - FPO of State-owned Power Grid Corporation of India. After the CCEA meeting in New Delhi yesterday, Power Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia told reporters that the FPO includes 13 per cent fresh equity by the public sector company and 4 per cent stake sale by the government.
